The Encar API
This is the page people land on when they search for the Encar API, so it answers the question directly, before anything else.
Does Encar.com have an official API?
No. Encar.com — the marketplace at encar.com and fem.encar.com — publishes no public API, no developer portal and no partner programme you can sign up for online. Every integration you have seen is either a scraper or a service like this one sitting in front of the market.
So what is this?
An independent REST API over live Encar listing data. You send a GET request with filters; you get paginated JSON back. Nothing is cached overnight — the read happens when you ask, so a car withdrawn this morning is already gone from your results.
What does a request look like?
One line. Authenticate with an x-api-key header, filter with query parameters, and read total, page, count and results[] off the answer.
curl -H "x-api-key: avg_free_..." \
"https://api.encar-api.com/api/cars?manufacturer=BMW&model=X5\
&fuel=diesel&priceTo=40000&sort=priceAsc&count=24"How do I get an Encar API key?
Enter an email on this site and the key is issued immediately — no card, no call, no sales step. The free tier is 100 requests a day and does not expire. Asking again from the same address returns the same key rather than a second one, so a key cannot be lost.
Is this legal to use?
We are not affiliated with Encar.com and we do not claim to be. We serve public listing data the way a price-comparison site does. You are responsible for how you present it, and we ask that you credit the source where a listing links back.
What you get
- All three endpoints, with no field held back on the lower tiers
- German and English translations of every Korean field
- Live availability checking on single-vehicle calls
- The complete documentation, free and public
- Support over WhatsApp, answered by the people who run it

Three endpoints, one header, JSON out. Everything below is the complete reference — there is no second, paid tier of documentation.
One number a month, no per-call billing to forecast and no setup fee. The free tier is a real tier, not a trial that expires.
There are exactly three, and the right answer depends on how fresh your data has to be and how much engineering time you want to spend keeping it that way.
